South Florida Ranks #15 in Hot Market for Home Building
Builders are beginning to slow down production but that doesn't mean new construction houses aren't selling. Miami-Fort Lauderdale ranks #15 out of the top 50 markets in the US, BUILDER online gathers this data as it measures each market by building permits pulled over the previous 12 months, and the builders within each market by how many closings they have from the previous year.
Who are the top builders in South Florida:
Ranked #1 is D.R. Horton, 2nd is Lennar, 3rd Pulte Group
D.R. Horton has been building homes for over 35 years and they have new developments all across South Florida from Homestead to Lake Worth and further north. They offer from luxury homes with golf course views or simpler more affordable options that can range from 3 to 6 bedroom homes.
Lennar has been building homes since 1954 and they have homes in some of the countries most desirable real estate markets. Lennar is a construction and real estate company based in Miami, FL. Lennar offers condos, townhomes and single family homes all throughout South Florida as well. You can review some of my previous posts on Lennar properties here.
